Lea Salonga, Charice Pempengco and Arnel Pineda are not the only Filipino singers who have world-class talent. Singing permeates all aspect of our lives: noon-time shows, election campaigns, etc. Filipino musicality is quite high but making good business out of this inherent talent is yet to happen. We have to hone Filipino talent at a young age and use available technologies to single-mindedly make perfect pitch Filipinos who will take their rightful place in the global stage. Vocal enhancement technologies that resulted from collaboration between the College of Music and the College of Engineering will be presented in this talk.
